Missing in Action {Walnut Creek, CA} Bay Area Photographer

Hi everyone,  so sorry I've been a little MIA lately.  Been really busy getting the auction together at Gabe's school and then in the middle of it all my little guy Kaleb got really sick.
Long story short... Kaleb had fever and sore throat (not strep) Tuesday and Wednesday plus he slept like 18 hours each day (not my normal child at all), then he got dehydrated - ended up in the ER to get fluids and blood tests on Wednesday evening. Sent home as the 1st tests came back that he only had a virus, then got a call from the ER to get back there asap, Thursday, as there was actually some sort of bacteria growing in one of the cultures, then...admitted to the hospital and on IV fluids and antibiotics. They were not sure if it was a Strep or if it was a contaminate. So the doctors decided to err on the side of caution and keep us in the hospital on fluids and antibiotics. As he wasn't drinking enough. To end the exciting weekend it looks like the sample was contaminated somehow in the Lab and we were able to go home mid-day on Saturday.

(Please excuse my cell phone images.)
We have a follow up apt with the doctor in the morning too just make sure all is okay.

Day 6 - who THEY love {the joy of LOVE} SF/Bay Area Photographer

Here is day 6 of the joy of LOVE workshop from willette. who THEY love... My boys LOVE, love each other. No matter how mad they are at each other, whenever they come home from school they are so happy to see each other it melts my heart.  Can you not see the love?

Day 5 - what you love to hate {the joy of LOVE} SF/Bay Area Photographer

Here is day 5 of the joy of LOVE workshop from willette. What you love to hate... I love, love my kids, I would protect them from anything. Jump in front of them and take whatever is heading their way, but there are times when I just don't like them very much. They fight, yes I know they are boys, and scream at each other. My little one can scream also. They don't share very well at times. Messes though bug me. Specially the ones that end up all over the floor.

Day 4 - what they wear {the joy of LOVE} SF/Bay Area Photographer

Here is day 3 of the joy of LOVE workshop from willette. I love my kids, they are so much alike at times, but they are dress so differently.  G is at the age where skulls and skater stuff is so cool.  And if I let K, he'd wear pjs all day, a boy after my own heart.

Day Two~how they look {the joy of LOVE} SF/Bay Area Photographer

Here is day two of the joy of LOVE workshop from willette.  Today I took a picture of my oldest G. He is my most difficult child to take pictures of.  He always wants to be in front of the camera, but will never make a straight face.  So I always have to take it when he isn't really looking.

For todays assignment we are suppose to try and "Capture your loved one at their best (or at their worst). Or both. What you’re trying to capture is the TRUE essence/expression/attitude/posture that SCREAMS your loved one!"  Here is what I was able to get from Mr. G.

Day One~what they do {the joy of LOVE} SF/Bay Area Photographer

I am taking the joy of LOVE workshop from willette photography & more,  Her workshops always make me go outside my comfort zone and I just love that. The workshop is 28 days long so I will be posting a picture a day to go along with the assignment I get.  Hope you like the photos.

Day One ~ what they do

C works in the field and he really doesn't have a desk at home as I have taken over the only desk we have. So this is "what he does" when he works.  We as a family (the kids and I) call the chair and lap desk his desk.  I just love the look of concentration on his face.
