Week 4 {Walnut Creek, CA} 365 Project SF Bay Area Photographer
This last week sure has been a crazy one. As you can see from the photos there were two days I didn’t even get to take a single picture and trust me it wasn’t for not trying.
So as most of you know I am a crafting person. I guess I just love to keep busy. So I made this really cute heart wreath out of cardstock craft papers and then hot glued them on to a straw wreath. I saw this really cool holiday wreath and that is sort of where I got the idea. Mr. K loves to show off specially when the camera comes out. As you can see from his cute little face here on Wednesday.
Monday I noticed the cherry tree in from of Mr. G’s school was finally starting to bloom. I just love this time of year when all the cherry trees flower. Mr. K also discovered that he loves artichokes. I purchased 4 of them at the store and the hubby and I had them the 1st night and K tied them. Then we had the other 2 the next night and I am not sure I even got half of mine. He gobbled it all up.
On Tuesday I used Mr. K’s wonderful teacher as a model for a hat and scarf I knitted for a very special girl check out the blog post from TomKat Studios that inspired me. I cannot wait to find out how the party went, it was this Saturday.

Week 3 {Walnut Creek, CA} 365 Project SF Bay Area Photographer
Well this week is a little different. The kids and I took a trip down to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so most of the pictures this week are from that day, but I did include some others that I took that week. My little K loves fish. He can just stare at them all day. We got to see the Sea Horse exhibit and I wish I could have spent more time in there. Plus the Jelly Fish at so cool to look at. We also stopped at the Dennis the Menace Park, which I have to say is so cool. G and K wouldn't get off the full size train engine. Hope you all have a great week.

Week 2 {Walnut Creek, CA} 365 Project SF Bay Area Photographer
This was a crazy week and as you can see from the pictures there are more than a weeks worth. Monday G was working so hard on his homework and at one point it looked like he almost feel asleep, but he was just upset as I wouldn't read the directions. K is now taking a tumbling class and just had to show off. Tuesday is our friend H. His older brother C is in G class. Saturday there are two pictures also as I am now a proud parent of an orange belt child. G had his karate test Saturday so I took a before and after picture. He was exhausted when he got back, the test is over 2 hours, but he did a great job.
Hope you all had a great week. See you next week.

Week 1 {Walnut Creek, CA} 365 Project SF Bay Area
This year I have decided to one of my New Year’s resolutions would be doing a 365 photo project. I am going to be taking a photo a week and then posting it on the blog once a week. I promise I will not be posting a picture a day, but who knows midyear I could change my mind and start to post a picture a year.
As usual my boys always have to be the center of attention so that is what most of this week’s pictures are of plus I’m just starting on the project so please bare with me.
Monday’s picture is of a garland I made from an idea I saw and decided it would be cool to have it then become what we pin all the holiday cards to. I have to say I went overboard on the garland it was just over 19 feet long, but totally full of cards, but the end of Dec. We feel really blessed to have so many friends that we still keep in contact with even if it is just a card or two a year.
Wednesday’s picture is of the flower my little guy, K, made for me. He decided I needed a flower that wasn’t going to die, which is what real flowers do. So he made me this wonderfully sunny flower.
Saturday was a hard day for K, he cried at the drop of the hat over almost nothing. Ahh the joys of a 3 year old.
I hope you all had a great week see you next Sunday.

Family Session {Walnut Creek, (the Gardens at Heather Farms) CA} Bay Area Photographer
Just before Winter break from school I got to do a family session for the wonderful W family. These twins are ... well just great. They are so nice and I love being able to document their lives. (I hope to continue to also.) The weather held for us also as it had been raining cats and dogs just a couple of days before hand and we had to already reschedule once due to rain.

Ribbon Wreath {Walnut Creek, CA} Bay Area Photography
So as most of my friends know, I like to do crafts. I like to think of myself as a crafty person. The hubby of course things I do way to many crafts, but hey it keeps me busy I don't get board and I love figuring out how to do something when I see a photo of it. So... sometime in November I was blog surfing and came upon a website that had this really pretty Christmas Ribbon Wreath. I thought to my self, hey if I just change up that ribbon I could have a Hanukkah looking wreath, then that lead me to ohhh I have a friend who is having a baby girl in a couple of weeks I'm going to make her a pink wreath for the babies room. What I really like about the pink ribbon wreath is it isn't a "welcome home" baby gift. This is a wreath that could stay up on the wall the whole time. In fact, I am now going to try and sell these wreaths. I am in the process of working on another blue on that will have a little sign on it that says "ssshhh baby sleeping". If you are interested in purchasing it let me know and I will send photos when I finish it, which should be this weekend. I am thinking it could be a great baby gift.
Let me know what you think of these. I would love some comments.

So this is a little of a delayed blog post, but while in New York at the end of July 2010 I actually got to do my 1st boudoir session. Of course I made sure it was with someone I could practice on like my younger sister. I have to say, check out Ms B ... doesn't she look fabulous.
